The Maine Legislature honored the Hall-Dale Grades 5 and 6 Girls Basketball Team with a Legislative Sentiment for winning the Kennebec Valley Grades 5 and 6 Championship. The team finished their season with a 17-5 record and only lost one regular season game, despite playing a 6th grade schedule with only two 6th graders on the team.

“The Hall-Dale Grades 5 and 6 Girls Basketball champions showed remarkable teamwork and determination, and I was thrilled to welcome them at the State House to be recognized,” said Sen. Shenna Bellows, D-Manchester.

Members of the team include players Amanda Trepanier, Emma Sirois, Hayden Madore, Ashlynn Donahue, Aubrey Gilbert, Grace Perry, Jenna Lee, Kadence Greenhalgh and Zoe Soule, manager Davis Madore and coaches Ryan Madore, Jamie Madore, Joey Gilbert and Alisa Bonefant.

A Legislative Sentiment is a significant expression by the Legislature in recognition of civic and public achievements.
