Dear Friends & Neighbors,

I want to thank the resident of Senate District 30 for allowing me the opportunity to serve another term as your State Senator. I appreciate the support and look forward to working on what is best for our community. I know we have wonderful citizens, businesses, beautiful towns and special places within our region. I simply cannot imagine any better place to call home and once again it is with great pride that I serve as your voice in Augusta.

I am pleased to inform you about my Joint Standing Committee assignments for the 123rd Legislature. I have been appointed to continue as Chair of the State and Local Government Committee and will serve as a member of the Business, Research, and Economic Development Committee. I am honored to lead State and Local Government again. It has been a tremendous responsibility, one that has been interesting and enjoyable. As a member of Business, Research, and Economic Development I plan to provide legislation that will aim to improve the business climate and economic status in our region.

I am excited to serve in this capacity and will work hard on your behalf to bring better jobs and opportunities to our district.
