Sen. Gratwick earns perfect voting record in 127th Legislature
AUGUSTA – Sen. Gratwick, D-Bangor, had a perfect attendance and voting record during the recently concluded legislative session.
His 271 votes during 2016 give him 100 percent record for the entire 127th Legislative session. Sen. Gratwick has never had an unexcused absence since he was first elected to the Maine Senate in 2012.
“The people of Bangor and Hermon elected me to represent them in Augusta and I take that responsibility seriously,” said Sen. Gratwick. “My voting record shows that I’m committed to making sure their interests are represented whenever the Senate acts.”
During the 2nd Regular Session, lawmakers cast votes to step up the fight against drug addiction, increase investments in local schools, cut taxes for Maine homeowners and businesses and boost integrity in Maine’s welfare system.
