Sen. Gratwick takes oath of office for 128th Maine Legislature
Gratwick begins third term representing Senate District 9 in the Maine Senate
AUGUSTA — Sen. Gratwick, D-Bangor, was inaugurated during a swearing-in ceremony held Wednesday in the Maine Senate chamber Augusta.
“I am extremely grateful that the people of Bangor and Hermon have given me the opportunity to represent them again in the Maine Senate,” Sen. Gratwick said. “I look forward to getting to work and ensuring that Maine is a great place for people to live and work.”
Sen. Gratwick is beginning his third term in the Maine Senate. Prior to serving in Augusta, he served three terms on the Bangor City Council.
The 128th Legislature will convene for its first day of regular business on Wednesday, January 4. Members of the Legislature have until Friday, December 30, to submit bills for consideration in 2017. Constituents interested in speaking to Sen. Gratwick about bill ideas are encouraged to call his State House office at 287-1515.
Sen. Gratwick would also like his constituents to know that he is always available to assist with any state government-related issues, questions or concerns. His constituent services include help navigating government agencies, finding the correct information or services and answering questions. Sen.
