Sen. Millett welcomes Emerge Maine members to Augusta

Monique Roy of Lewiston and Jennifer Kreckel of Rumford, members of Emerge Maine, visited the State House to meet with legislators, learn more about the legislative process and share their experience with the program on February 11, 2016.

Emerge Maine is part of a national network dedicated to inspiring Democratic women to run for office.

“Women have a long history of making great contributions to the State of Maine,” said Sen. Rebecca Millett of Cape Elizabeth. “It is great to see more and more women looking at getting into politics and effecting positive change in their communities.”
