HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SUESS!
As part of Read Across America day, Senator Seth Goodall read to 4th grade students at Marcia Buker Elementary in Richmond. In honor of Dr. Suess’s Birthday, Senator Goodall chose to read “The Lorax” to the students.
“Reading helps children reach their full potential,” said Senator Goodall. “The kids were terrific and they had many great questions about the book.”
Senator Goodall is pictured with his mother, Mrs. Goodall, who is wearing the Cat in the Hat hat in the picture, which the kids loved. Mrs. Goodall is the library director at Marcia Buker Elementary.
