Sen. Gerzofsky to serve on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee
Democratic Sen. Stan Gerzofsky of Brunswick has been selected to serve on the Legislature’s Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee.
The bipartisan, 13-member committee oversees matters related to the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, including research and management regarding hunting, fishing, trapping, hunter safety and fish hatcheries. The Department also employs Maine’s Game Wardens, and oversees ATV, snowmobile and watercraft regulation.
“I look forward to serving on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee and understand the importance of this industry to our district and the entire state,” said Sen. Gerzofsky.
Sen. Gerzofsky also serves on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, Government Oversight Committee, Joint Rules Committee, Senate Rules Committee, and the Senatorial Vote Committee.
