Gorham legislators to hold public office hours
AUGUSTA — In advance of the Maine Legislature’s Sept. 27 bill submission deadline, Sen. Linda Sanborn and Rep. Maureen Terry, who both represent Gorham in the Maine Legislature, will hold public office hours from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at the Baxter Memorial Library in Gorham.
Public office hours provide residents a chance to meet with their elected officials, ask questions, raise concerns and get help with legislative or state government matters.
The Legislative Office of the Revisor of Statutes has set a submission deadline of Sept. 27 for any bills — other than those carried over from the previous session — to be considered in the upcoming second regular session, which begins in January 2020.
