Leader Pierce welcomes Kristan Vermeulen, Ms. Maine 2025, of Cumberland to the State House

AUGUSTA ­­— On February 25, 2025, Maine Senate Majority Leader Teresa S. Pierce, D-Falmouth, welcomed Kristan Vermeulen of Cumberland to the State House. Sen. Pierce presented her with a legislative sentiment to commemorate her pageant victory as Ms. Maine 2025.

“It was such a joy to welcome Kristan and her fellow pageant winners and celebrate their success and contributions to our state,” said Sen. Pierce. “As a young mom and entrepreneur, Kristan’s work to uplift and inspire the next generation of women in leadership is commendable. I look forward to seeing her future accomplishments.”

They focus on women empowerment, promoting positive self-image and advocating a platform of community service, which allows our contestants to rise by lifting others.”
