Lewiston student visits the Maine Senate

AUGUSTA – Ryan Courbon, a junior at Baxter Academy, recently spent the day at the State House shadowing his state Sen. Nate Libby. Throughout the day with Sen. Libby, Courbon observed a Senate Democratic caucus, Senate session, committee hearings, and other legislative events.

“Ryan is a wonderful person, with a bright future ahead,” said Sen. Libby of Lewiston. “It was a pleasure to spend the day with him and I hope his experience will inspire him to someday run for office.”
