Public Comment Requested at Commission to Study Emergency Medical Services in Maine
The Blue Ribbon Commission to Study Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Maine continues its vital work, with Sen. Chip Curry presiding as the Senate Chair of the commission. The third meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 13, 2023, from 1 to 4 p.m.
This meeting will be held in the Appropriations and Financial Affairs (AFA) Committee room at the State House, room 228. This is an opportunity for the public to voice their thoughts, providing valuable insight into the Commission’s discussions and helping shape the direction of the final recommendations.
Your Voice Matters
Whether you’ve been following the Commission’s progress or have direct experience with the EMS services in Maine, your perspective is welcome. This session will focus on reflecting on the Commission’s initial meetings and expanding the conversation to include new viewpoints and suggestions.

- In-Person Attendance: To testify in person, please go to the AFA Committee room on Monday, November 13, at 1 p.m. No registration is required to speak at the meeting. If you wish to provide written comments or have supplementary materials, please bring at least 20 copies for distribution.
- Remote Attendance: To offer your comments via Zoom, please register for the meeting here. Additionally, please email written comments or materials to Sophie Paddon at Sophia.Paddon@legislature.maine.gov by 9 a.m. on Monday, November 13.
