The OPEGA report came out eight months after a request was made by then-Government Oversight Committee member and state Rep. Dawn Hill, D-York.
Hill questioned why the MTA was no longer giving the state its surplus funds, as outlined by state law. She had started looking into the MTA’s operations while fighting the authority’s plans to relocate the York toll plaza.
Now a state senator, Hill is expected to attend Friday’s meeting, which is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in Room 214 of the Cross Building in Augusta.
