Sen. Baldacci earns score of 100% from Maine Women’s Lobby

AUGUSTA — Sen. Baldacci, D-Bangor, earned a perfect score from the Maine Women’s Lobby (MWL) for votes during the second session of the 132nd Legislature.

“I would like to thank the Maine Women’s Lobby for all of their efforts and advocacy in the Legislature,” said Sen. Baldacci. “I am very grateful for this recognition of my work in the Legislature. I’ve worked hard to ensure that the laws we pass are beneficial and equitable for women in Maine. It has been a pleasure working with this organization during my time in the Legislature.”

Sen. Baldacci has been an outspoken advocate for women’s rights and health throughout his career in public service.

Sen. Baldacci represents Senate District 9, comprised of the City of Bangor and the Town of Hermon. He is the Senate Chair of both the Committee on State and Local Government and the Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
