Sen. Baldacci welcomes Bangor Christian Schools championship basketball team to Augusta

AUGUSTA — On Monday, March 25, Sen. Joe Baldacci, D-Bangor, welcomed the Bangor Christian Schools Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team to the State House to be recognized in the Senate chamber for their victories in the Class D North Regional Championship and the Class D State Championship.

“I was thrilled to welcome the Bangor Christian Schools Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team to Augusta today,” said Sen. Baldacci. “These young men put in the time and effort needed to come out as champions. I am incredibly proud of their work and accomplishments. They have represented their city well.”

The Bangor Christian Schools Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team toured the State House were recognized in the Senate Chamber by Sen. Baldacci and his colleagues, and received Legislative Sentiments for their championship victories.
