Sen. Beebe-Center earns high marks from unions for pro-worker voting record
AUGUSTA — Sen. Pinny Beebe-Center, D-Rockland, earned a perfect score from the Maine AFL-CIO for her votes to support working Maine families. Sen. Beebe-Center is one of 22 Senators to earn a 90 or perfect score from the AFL-CIO.
“I am proud to represent the hardworking men and women of Knox County,” said Sen. Beebe-Center. “I promise to keep looking out for the incredible members of our workforce, from lobstermen to health care workers to teachers, because they deserve to have someone who can represent their needs in Augusta.”
Sen. Beebe-Center has a long history of supporting Maine workers, including being an original co-sponsor for Sen. She also voted to establish minimum wage protections for farmworkers and to make childcare more affordable, as well as raise wages for childcare workers.
