AUGUSTA — Sen. Jim Dill, D-Old Town, earned a perfect score from the Maine State Employees Association (MSEA) for his votes to support state workers.

“During my time in Augusta, I have made it a priority to vote for bills that protect Maine workers. In the last year and half, Maine state employees have showed up to make sure all Mainers have access to the resources they need. The least we can do is make sure that our state employees are treated fairly,” said Sen. Dill. “I am proud to have earned a perfect score from MSEA and promise to keep voting for bills that support our state employees.”

Sen. Dill has a long history of supporting Maine workers. This session, Sen. Dill voted in favor of bills to fund collective bargaining agreements for executive branch employees, the Back to Basics Budget and the bipartisan biennial state budget, which included measures to support state employees.

MSEA scored votes on six bills, including the Back to Basics Budget and the bipartisan biennial state budget. MSEA represents 13,000 public workers. For more information about the votes scored by MSEA, visit www.mseaseiu.org
