Sen. Dill honors Old Town resident at the State House

Sen. Dill, Rep. Dunphy with Lee Jackson 4.12.16Lee Jackson, a senior at the University of Maine, was recognized today by the Legislature for being named McDonald’s Crew Person of the Year.

The award, established in 2002, acknowledges and rewards 25 crew members from across the nation who make outstanding contributions to their restaurants and deliver the brand promise to customers each and every day. McDonald’s recognizes these crew members as role models.

Sen. Jim Dill of Old Town and Rep. Michelle Dunphy of Old Town presented Lee with a Legislative Sentiment in recognition of his award and exemplary volunteer service in the community.

“I congratulate Lee on this well-deserved honor and wish him all the best in his endeavors,” said Sen. Dill. “His future is very bright.”

“Lee Jackson is hardworking young leader who is very deserving of this award,” said Rep. Dunphy. “All of Old Town is very proud of his accomplishments.”

Lee is a 2012 graduate from Old Town High School and currently serves on the RSU 34 school board.
