Sen. Duson announces May “Coffee with Constituents” office hours event
AUGUSTA – Sen. Jill Duson, D-Portland, is announcing a May “Coffee with Constituents” office hours event for residents of Senate District 27. The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13 at Rwanda Bean at Deering Center in Portland.
“It was a joy as a city councilor to take the time to sit down and talk with fellow residents of Portland. Now as a State Senator, I hope to continue this tradition,” said Sen. Duson. “With session well under way up at the State House, I want to provide critical updates on key legislation, and take the time to listen to the concerns and issues that are directly affecting us in Westbrook and Portland. I hope you will be able to join me at Rwanda Bean.”
Public office hours provide residents a chance to meet with their representatives, share ideas, ask questions and get help with state government services. To provide specific questions or topics ahead of the event, or to schedule a private conversation, contact Sen. Duson at Jill.Duson@legislature.maine.gov or (207) 287-1515.
