AUGUSTA — On Tuesday, June 4, Sen. Nicole Grohoski, D-Ellsworth, Rep. Nina Milliken, D-Blue Hill, and Rep. Holly-Rae Eaton, D-Deer Isle, visited Tremont Consolidated School in Bass Harbor for an immersive experience in to Maine Mobile Biolab’s capabilities.

“I’m so grateful for the invitation from Tremont Consolidated School to include Representatives Eaton, Milliken and myself in this educational experience,” said Sen. Grohoski. “Seeing the tools within this lab, and knowing they’re being shared comprehensively for all Maine students to see, really brings me great joy.”

EducateMaine created the Maine Mobile Biolab with the purpose of distributing mobile laboratory learning opportunities to all Maine middle school students. The Biolab serves as a conduit for schools or districts who may not have access to certain lab tools that could provide crucial hands-on learning experiences for students. Schools interested in hosting the Maine Mobile Biolab for a STEM event should visit www.MaineMobilBiolab.org to fill out a request form.
