Sen. Hickman welcomes Doctor of the Day to the State House

AUGUSTA – On Thursday, March 28, Senator Hickman of Winthrop welcomed Osteopathic Doctor, Dr. Jacob Longfellow of Farmingdale, to the State House to perform the necessary duties required for the Doctor of the Day.

“It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Longfellow,” said Sen. Hickman. “His presence in the Chamber today brought peace of mind to my colleagues and I knowing there was a doctor on-site in case of emergency.” The responsibilities of the Doctor of the Day involve ensuring senators and staff have immediate medical care in case of a medical emergency.
