Sen. Hickman welcomes Rev. Marcos Juliao of Wayne to the State House

AUGUSTA – On Tuesday, Sen. Craig Hickman, D-Winthrop, introduced Rev. Marcos Juliao of Wayne Community Church to the Senate to provide the invocation.

“It was a pleasure to receive an invocation from a reverend in my district,” said Sen. Hickman. “Rev. Juliao is a passionate and gracious reverend and I’m grateful he came to share his words of encouragement with my colleagues.”

Invocations are given at the start of each session in the Senate Chamber. The time is meant for bipartisan reflection and nondenominational words of guidance from faith based leaders across the state.
