Sen. Miramant to hold in-district office hours in January
AUGUSTA — Sen. Dave Miramant, D-Camden, will be holding in-district office hour sessions in Camden and Rockland in January.
“This is a great chance for anyone who has concerns with state government, questions about bills before the legislature, or would just like to discuss issues that are important to them,” said Sen. Miramant. “I look forward to meeting with people as the second legislative session gets underway.”
Miramant is particularly interested in hearing thoughts or questions anyone may have about power restoration in the wake of the recent storm and how response time might improve in future storm outages. Additionally, the Legislature will be grappling with the implementation of Medicaid expansion — which voters approved in the recent November election.
No RSVP is required to any event, and meetings are open to anyone who would like to voice their opinion and share their concern on state or personal matters. It is an opportunity to have an open dialogue with local legislators. The dates and times for office hours can be found below.
