Sen. Pierce, Rep. Crockett present legislative sentiments to 100-year-old OceanView residents

AUGUSTA ­­— On Monday, May 8, Sen. Teresa S. Pierce, D-Falmouth, and Rep. Ed Crockett, D-Portland, presented Jane Volin and Alma Thomas with legislative sentiments marking their 100th birthdays.

“It was a pleasure to celebrate Jane and Alma, alongside their neighbors and friends at OceanView,” said Sen. Pierce. “These two women have a lifetime of memories and stories, and they remain active as members of their community. It is clear their community loves them.”

“It was an honor to meet and share the moment with two amazing and lovely women who have so much wisdom to share with the world,” said Rep. Crockett. “I congratulate them for reaching this significant milestone.”
