Sens. Duson, Chipman welcome Talbot Community School Choir to the Maine Senate
AUGUSTA – On Tuesday March 26, Sen. Jill Duson, D-Portland and Sen. Ben Chipman D-Portland, welcomed fourth-and fifth-graders from the Gerald E. Talbot Community School Choir to the Maine State Senate. The Talbot Community School Choir was invited to perform the National Anthem at the beginning of session.
“It was a pleasure to hear the wonderful students of Talbot Community School perform,” said Sen. Duson. “The young students were exceptional and gave a wonderful rendition of the National Anthem. Kudos to their teachers for coaching these exceptional young students. I was proud to host these students here in the State House.”
