YORK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SHADOWS SENATOR HILL

AUGUSTA – Catherine Marcoullier, a junior at York High School, recently spent the day at the Maine State House shadowing her State Senator. As part of the high school’s Career Quest Program, Catherine decided to visit the Capitol and shadow Senator Dawn Hill of Cape Neddick. Throughout the day with Senator Hill, Catherine observed a Senate Democratic caucus, Senate session, committee hearings, and other legislative events.

“Catherine is a wonderful person, with a bright future ahead,” said Senator Hill. “It was a pleasure to spend the day with her and I hope the experience will inspire her to someday run for office.”
