Sen. Tepler earns score of 100% from Maine Women’s Lobby

AUGUSTA — Sen. Denise Tepler, D-Topsham, earned a perfect score from the Maine Women’s Lobby (MWL) for votes during the second session of the 132nd Legislature.

“I am very grateful for this recognition of my work from the Maine Women’s Lobby,” said Sen. Tepler. “It is important to me that we take into account how the laws we pass affect Maine women. I’m very thankful for MWL’s continued work and advocacy for the rights of women in Maine and look forward to continuing to work with them in the next Legislature.”

Sen. Tepler has been an outspoken advocate for women’s rights and health throughout her career in public service.

Sen. Tepler represents Senate District 24, comprised of all of Sagadahoc County and the Town of Dresden in Lincoln County. She is the Senate Chair of both the Committee on Marine Resources and the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources.
