Sen. Deschambault congratulates Biddeford native on Stanley Cup win

Sen. Susan Deschambault of Biddeford released the following statement regarding Biddeford native, Brian Dumoulin, defenseman for the 2016 Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins.

“The Biddeford community, and entire state of Maine, is very proud of Brian and his team for winning the 2016 Stanley Cup,” said Sen. Deschambault. “Brian has worked hard to get where he is today with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and he is an inspiration for so many. His story shows that if you are committed and put in the work, you can achieve your goals in life. We are so proud of Brian.”

On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final and won the series, 4-2.
