Sen. Deschambault welcomes local “Doctor of the Day”
Sen. Susan Deschambualt, D-Biddeford, welcomed Dr. Lisa Gouldsbrough, also of Biddeford, to the Maine Senate as the Doctor of the Day for December 7, 2016.
“It was wonderful to welcome Dr. Gouldsbrough to the Maine Senate yesterday,” said Sen. Deschambault. “All of us in the Biddeford area are lucky to have great doctors and medical facilities around and I’m so proud to show that off to Senators from around the state.”
Dr. Gouldsbrough first came to Maine to attend Saint Francis College, now the University of New England, and has been a practicing pediatrician in Maine for 24 years. She currently practices in Kennebunk and is the President of the Maine Osteopathic Association.
“Dr. Gouldsbrough’s story – coming to Maine for college then choosing to make her life and professional work here – is one we want replicated time and time again,” said Sen. Deschambault. “I hope it serves as an inspiration to our young people both in Maine and beyond.”
