Sen. Ingwersen, Gov. Mills celebrate investments in career and technical education in Senate District 32
ARUNDEL — On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Sen. Henry Ingwersen, D-Arundel, welcomed Gov. Janet T. Mills to Senate District 32. During her visit, she and Sen. Ingwersen toured Align Precision, a leading advanced manufacturing firm that specializes in high-precision machining and assembly for aerospace, defense and medical industries. Afterwards, they visited the Landing School, which offers world-class programs in boatbuilding, marine systems and vessel design.
“I always enjoy showing off the great work that folks are doing here in the district,” said Sen. Ingwersen. “Whether it’s a manufacturer like Align Precision or an education program like the Landing School, we have entrepreneurs and educators preparing the next generation of boaters and builders to enter the workforce. The best part of all? They don’t even have to travel far from home. I have been proud to support these investments in career and technical education, and I will continue to do so.”
