Sen. Nicole Grohoski, Rep. Nina Milliken announce January “Coffee with Constituents” office hours event in Blue Hill

AUGUSTA — Sen. Nicole Grohoski, D-Ellsworth, and Rep. Nina Milliken, D-Blue Hill, are hosting January office hours for residents of Senate District 7 and House District 16. Senate District 7 includes 21 coastal and island communities in Hancock County, as well as the Town of Isle au Haut in Knox County. House District 16 includes the communities of Blue Hill, Brooksville, Castine, Sedgwick, Surry and Trenton in Hancock County. Sen. Grohoski will also host a separate virtual office hours event.

“Now that the Legislature is back in session, I urge constituents to share their comments and thoughts on my work at the State House,” said Sen. Grohoski. “In addition to constituent casework, we can discuss your concerns and priorities. Although this is the short session, we still have hundreds of bills to vote on.”

The in-person, public “Coffee with Constituents” event will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Howard Room at Blue Hill Public Library, located at 5 Parker Point Road in Blue Hill. Coffee and tea will be provided.

“There’s no better way to start the New Year than to spend time with constituents” said Rep. Milliken. “In the months ahead, I hope that folks across the district will share their concerns, hopes and thoughts with me. When you do, I can serve everyone well.”
