Sen. Dill and Rep. Tipping-Spitz recognize Orono teacher

Sen. Dill with Rep. Tipping-Spitz and Shanna Goodall 2.11.16The Maine Legislature recognized Shana Goodall of Orono for receiving the Association of Computer Technology Educators of Maine ACHIEVE Award.

The award recognizes innovative educators who effectively apply available technology.

Goodall, an Orono High School social studies teacher, won the award for her tireless work to know each of her students on a personal level, and for learning their needs and struggles, strengths and passions.

Today, she was presented with a Legislative Sentiment by Sen. Jim Dill of Old Town and Rep. Ryan Tipping-Spitz of Orono during her visit at the State House. Sentiments are significant expressions by the Legislature in recognition of civic and public achievements.
